Important Announcement: Wildcat Campground will Permanently Close for Business on November 30th 2018

The property is being leased to a New York based company called Getaway. They will be setting up 40 tiny houses on the side of the mountain mostly for weekend rentals. As some of you know, this roughly 60 acre tract is known locally as the "Gilreath property".

The adjoining 20+ acre tract known locally as the "Gurley property" will continue to function normally. The wildcat store and diner located on this tract will remain as such.

Getaway can be viewed at and would love to host you during your north Georgia getaway.
